How does Nuvon Drive work?

Our infrastructure is based on high performance rack mounted Synology Servers. They are hosted at Czech Data Centers through redundant power and network. This guarantees a very high up time, above 99.9% of the time per year.

When you subscribe to Nuvon Drive, you get access to Synology Drive in the cloud. You'll have access to your data through a web portal and through the Synology Drive Client (available on Window, Linux, macOS, iOS and Android).

What about file sizes? We support any file size! We also don't have any daily, weekly, monthly or yearly limit on data transfers. Transfer (download or upload) as much as you need. All we charge is allocated space (in terabyte increments) and user accounts.

This is how the web portal looks like -- There's a space for your personal files under "My Drive" and shared files under "Team Folder"

On Windows, macOS and Linux you'll be able to synchronize any local folder or volume (directly attached) to any folder on your Nuvon Drive. This makes it possible to have extremely flexible workflows.

Synology Drive Client - The sync application that will help you keep your files in sync with the cloud and collaborate with your team

Besides the typical sync, Synology Drive Client on Windows and macOS offers an option for "On-demand sync", which means you see all the files that are on the cloud without needing to download them to your computer. They will only be downloaded and you access them. You can also pin them so they are always available even if you're offline or you can free up space, letting the files untouched in the cloud and not occupying space on your computer.

We have plug-and-play integration with all Synology NAS devices through Synology Drive ShareSync.
